Where did you end up buying them?
I discovered mine on sale via Cettire and purchased them that way!
I ordered them on April 28th and they were at my door by April 30th, so the shipping was super fast .

Are they true to size?
I’d say they fit just right, based on my pair.

Is the comfort worth it?
They felt good right away. I wear no-show socks with them, especially since they reduce sweat. They’re made with real Italian leather, so it’s much more pleasant than breaking in plastic-based shoes. Plus, they’re already softened so your feet just get comfortable fast.
Do they hold up well?
Since they come pre-distressed, I didn’t worry about scuffing them more. I’ve worn them all over NYC, and they still look great. Nothing has torn, and the structure feels strong. Thanks to the vintage look, I don’t really notice if there’s new wear and tear.
How are they vs. other brands?
Nothing else compares in comfort or quality. I wear Vejas and Tretons too, but Golden Goose wins in both comfort and quality. There’s a secret wedge inside that adds just over an inch — making your legs look longer. Not to mention, they’re handmade in small batches, so each pair is custom-feeling. And the shine on mine? Next-level.
Are they worth it?
Totally! But I’d recommend waiting for a sale. They cost a lot, so getting them discounted is smarter. I’d pay several hundred for the quality, especially if you get a pair you love. I went bold with sparkle, but a low-key version would also go with everything.
